How to Install The Handle for a Folding Door
Follow the simple steps below to correctly install the handle on your folding door. This guide shows how to align the handle with the pre-drilled holes, insert the spindle into the mechanism, and securely fasten the screws to ensure smooth operation, stability, and reliable opening and closing of the window.
Step 1
Accessory needed: Handle, handle spindle, handle screw sleeves, handle screws, lock cylinder, lock cylinder screw,electric drill (or screwdriver), 3mm hex wrench.
Step 2
Use the handle intended for installation to open the door.
Step 3
First, Slide the square spindle into place, align the outer handle—which features a threaded hole—with the corresponding hole on the folding center post, and then install the handle..
Step 4
From the interior side, secure the handle by inserting the
mounting screws— fitted with screw sleeves—into the
corresponding screw holes.
Step 5
Next, grasp the handle on the interior side, loosen the set screw located at the fixing hole for the threaded sleeve, and slide the corresponding threaded sleeve into place.
Step 6
Tighten the set screw on the interior handle.
Step 7
Penetrating the Lock Cylinder.
Step 8
Finally, lock Cylinder Fixing Screw.
Step 9
Testing and Adjustment: operate the handle to open and close the door.
