The lift and slide system uses the highest quality, heavy duty advanced hydraulic-like lifting system, which allows the heavy glass panel to lift upward and then glide along effortlessly.
The advantage of having a lift and slide door is firstly choosing a sliding system that is superior in thermal and energy efficiency compared with any other conventional sliding door system; and secondly, you can enjoy your beautiful views with a 2 panel lift and slide door system that would traditionally require 3,4, and even 6 panel sliding doors.
For extremely large spaces, we recommend going with the double lift and slide door.

VEKA SOFTLINE LSD153 lift & sliding door with 153mm installation depth is the perfect solution for very large sliding doors. The proven lift & sliding hardware for this system first lifts the sash 7mm above the frame before the sash is sliding, ensuring very smooth operation. Once the sash is closed, it rests on the gaskets in the sash, achieving much better results for air and water tightness which exceed by far any standard sliding system solution.
